I became obsessed with the kitchen. Every cabinet contained some trinket or antiquated relic of the past. Blue mason jars. A 1950s bottle of sherry. A pan for who-knows-what and a 1953 guide to the Sunbeam Pan Fryer. All of which covered in dust. I opened the cabinets, placed the contents in the sink to soak and proceded to rib the old flooring which covered each and every shelf from the dark...
